The Villanova College renovation and expansion project thoughtfully blends tradition and innovation to create a dynamic new hub for the performing arts. Anchored by a striking, curved glass volume wrapped in vertical wood fins, the addition introduces a fluid, contemporary language that contrasts and complements the existing red brick campus. This new centrepiece houses collaborative student spaces, a multi-functional atrium, and dedicated rehearsal and performance areas, while maintaining visual continuity with its context through materials and scale. Carefully calibrated massing and façade articulation allow the addition to sit confidently yet respectfully alongside the existing structures, creating a cohesive and forward-looking campus identity.
